England secure innings victory over South Africa
England wrapped up an emphatic victory over South Africa this morning, winning the Second Test by an innings and 98 runs to go 1-0 up in the series.

It’s always amusing when somebody leaves a straight one
Graeme Swann was the man of the match hero again with a 5-wicket haul, whilst Ian Bell and Alistair Cook answered their critics with a century apiece, and England now seem to have a strong batting line-up and a fierce bowling attack.
How many times as Ian Bell been under pressure and then pulled a huge innings out of the bag? With another non-performance here, he would surely have been dropped, but in typical fashion, he’s just secured his place in the side for the rest of the series at least. You have to admire that sort of determination.
The Third Test begins on January 3rd from Newlands in Cape Town, and England could wrap up the 4 Test series with a victory – few would bet against them on the basis of this performance.
