Get behind Tuffers on Strictly Come Dancing

We’ve been in Ashes heaven once again here at The Cricket Blog, and whilst we’ve had our head in the sand pretending that the One Day Series isn’t happening, Phil Tufnell has gone and got himself involved in Strictly Come Dancing.

His team have been in touch with us about supporting the great man, and let’s face it, there’s a good chance he’ll need it. We are delighted to throw our support behind him, and we’d urge you to do the same. Let’s see if we can cause the same sort of controversy as last year, when everyone was voting to keep John Sergeant, even though he was as bad at dancing as England seem to be in this ODI series.

To whet your appetite for the show, which starts this Friday at 8.30pm, we have a preview video for you to watch.

The BBC team have also come up with this interactive image, in which you can find out more about each contestant. They’ll be updating this as the series progresses, so the information will change on this page as if by magic!

Enjoy the show, and remember to vote for Tuffers every week – let’s send him to the final in the footsteps of Ramps!

I’m not sure Tuffers will be able to follow in Ramp’s footsteps – he won’t be able to find them! Good luck Tuffers.
