South Africa demolish England to draw series

England were humiliated in the final Test against South Africa, succumbing easily before lunch on the fourth day.

Having managed just 180 in their first innings, England allowed their hosts to score 423 for 7 in theirs, and were never really in the game.

They resumed the fourth day on 48 for 3, and were skittled out by a superb South African attack, led by Morne Morkel, which gave them a victory by an innings and 74 runs.

The squad for the forthcoming tour to Bangladesh is announced tomorrow, and there will be some nervous members of the England camp, after failing to deliver in South Africa.

We’ll bring you news of the squad as soon as it is announced, and we’ll look back at the South Africa series and ahead to Bangladesh.
